Lucknow police arrested Saurabh Tripathi, a 36-year-old engineering graduate, for impersonating an IAS officer. After failing the UPSC exam twice, Tripathi adopted a fake identity, flaunting forged documents and luxury vehicles with government insignia. He even created fake social media profiles and attended official events to bolster his image, extracting money and enjoying government privileges across multiple states.
