The CBI Lucknow unit arrested a senior railway officer for allegedly accepting a bribe. Neetesh Agarwal, Sr. DMM of North Eastern Railway, demanded money from a contractor. The contractor had lodged a complaint with the agency regarding pending payments. CBI officials caught Agarwal red-handed while accepting ₹1.70 lakh in bribe money. The arrested officer will be produced before the CBI Court in Lucknow.
