A close associate of slain mafia don Mukhtar Ansari, Shoaib Kidwai alias Bobby, was shot dead in broad daylight in Barabanki. Motorcycle-borne assailants intercepted his car and fired over ten rounds. Police are scanning CCTV footage and have launched combing operations, suspecting gang rivalry as the motive.
