A former medical lecturer, Dr. Shaheen Shahid, was arrested in a nationwide crackdown on a Jaish-e-Mohammed network. Authorities believe she was involved in recruiting educated women for the terror outfit and maintained contact with a Pakistan-based handler. Her arrest followed the recovery of a large cache of explosives.
