Former Uttar Pradesh minister Nanak Ram Bhurji died Tuesday after a fall. The 68-year-old BJP leader fell from an upper floor behind the Darulshafa MLA Residence. Police rushed him to Civil Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. Preliminary inquiries suggest Bhurji suffered from depression for a long time. His family has been informed and a post-mortem is underway.
