Congress MP Pramod Tiwari accused the BJP of betraying allies after the Mahayuti alliance’s victory in the BMC elections. He alleged the BJP “swallows” its partners and declared the election and alliance “fake,” predicting the BJP’s dominance would not last. The Mahayuti secured control of 25 out of 29 municipal bodies in Maharashtra.
