Lucknow’s Kukrail reserve forest will soon host India’s first and world’s largest night safari. The Supreme Court has granted clearance, allowing construction to commence on the ambitious project. This safari, inspired by Singapore’s model, will span nearly 500 acres of land. It will feature 42 enclosures housing 54 species active during twilight and night. The project, powered by solar energy, is expected to open to the public in two years.
