UP’s biggest fake drug crackdown: Rs 3.63 crore counterfeit medicines seized; 14 booked

Uttar Pradesh authorities have cracked down on an organized interstate syndicate dealing in counterfeit medicines. Raids across Agra uncovered illegal relabelling, fake billing, and diversion of government hospital drugs. Over ₹3.63 crore worth of illicit medicines have been seized since the special drive began. The operation aims to dismantle the syndicate’s financial and criminal infrastructure effectively. Investigations into the wider network and alleged extortion of traders are continuing.
