Etawah’s Deputy CMO, Dr. Srinivas Yadav, was apprehended by Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Establishment accepting a ₹55,000 bribe. Officials orchestrated a sting operation after a complainant alleged the bribe was demanded for clearing an ultrasound center application. The tainted money was recovered, and a case is registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
