An Army jawan on leave alleged Samajwadi Party MLA Suresh Yadav’s supporters assaulted him after he objected to the legislator’s alleged anti-Prime Minister remarks at a public meeting in Barabanki. The jawan claims he was punched and kicked when he took the microphone to protest. Organizers deny any assault, stating the jawan attempted to snatch the mic.
