Two British nationals, Hassan Amman Saleem and Sumitra Shakeel Olivia, have been sentenced to six months in prison and fined Rs 50,000 each for illegally entering India from Nepal without valid documents. They were apprehended in November last year at the Indo-Nepal border. The court granted them bail pending their appeal.
