Lucknow court convicts 13 Bangladeshis, 2 Rohingyas to 5-year jail term in trafficking racket

A special court convicted fifteen individuals involved in human trafficking. Thirteen Bangladeshi nationals and two Rohingyas received five years imprisonment. The syndicate facilitated illegal entry and used forged documents for passports. These passports were allegedly used to send trafficked individuals abroad. The Uttar Pradesh ATS unearthed this cross-border network nearly five years ago.
