Renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Syed Salman Husaini Nadwi has passed away in Lucknow at 73 after a brief illness. A respected author and educator, he dedicated his life to teaching Islamic theology and Shariah, mentoring students globally. Maulana Nadwi, who held master’s degrees from India and Saudi Arabia, also championed humanitarian service and youth engagement through his writings and organizational leadership. His funeral prayers are scheduled for Monday evening.
