The Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Upbhokta Parishad has urged the state government to appoint separate officers as UPPCL Chairman and Additional Chief Secretary (Energy). This separation is sought to prevent conflicts of interest and enhance transparency in the power sector, as recommended by the UPERC for UPSLDC.
