A hardware shop owner, Sunil Chaudhary, was shot dead in Hathras after being abducted from his home. Three men, identified by the victim before his death, allegedly assaulted him before one shot him. He was found injured and later died during treatment. Police have registered a case and arrested one suspect, with further investigation ongoing.
