A religious ceremony in Kannauj’s Simuapur village turned grim as at least 62 people fell ill after consuming prasad. Devotees experienced health issues following the distribution of ‘panchamrit’ and ‘panjiri’ during a ‘Satyanarayan Katha’. Many were rushed to the district hospital, with 14 critical patients transferred to a medical college. Officials are overseeing the situation and ensuring treatment.
