A Lucknow man was defrauded of Rs 1.92 crore by an online acquaintance who turned out to be a man using a fake female identity. The accused, Imran Ghazi, was arrested after the victim reported the cyber fraud. Ghazi used multiple bank accounts opened with forged documents to receive the illicit funds.
