High Court Collegium Suggests Arrangement Of Two lawyers As Chhattisgarh HC Judges

The supreme Court Collegium on Tuesday prescribed the names of two advocates to be appointed judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court.
The Collegium involving the chief justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud, justice Sanjiv Khanna and justice BR Gavai suggested the accompanying names for judgeship
(i) Shri Bibhu Datta Guru, and
(ii) Shri Amitendra Kishore Prasad @ A.K. Prasad.
On 21 February 2024, the chief justice of the high Court of Chhattisgarh in conference with his two senior-most associates suggested the names of the above advocates for appointment as Judges of that High Court. The chief minister and the governor of the state of Chhattisgarh have agreed with the proposal.
